Rating:

Eh. Maguire has really been hit or miss with me. A few I’ve enjoyed. A few I’ve trudged through. One I quit entirely. But the ones I’ve enjoyed, I’ve enjoyed enough to want to keep reading him in spite of the misses. You know - just in case the next one is good. It’s not that he’s inconsistent. It’s just that I didn’t personally care for a few of his books. And I can’t even really point to exactly “why”… it just is what it is. Maybe next time…
